Smea: the beginning...

SMEA was founded in 1990 by a group of information engineers, skilled in Mapics, ACG, Gipros and other ERP projects.

We care in giving the industrial companies powerful and efficient tools, therefore we develop application modules able to solve the Customer problems.

This approach allows Smea to become an application software centre qualified and know throughout Italy.
Nowadays our customers all over Italy and of different sectors are more than 200.

SMEA has always believed in joining together, establishing partnership as a way to grow and gain more and more reliability and creditworthiness.

Therefore in the time we have established several alliances in technological, geographical and application areas. Some of them are based on products co-ownership, other in society quotes take-over (either majority or minority control): they mean ethical values sharing and teamwork ability.

Our business partners are:

• Query S.p.A., the company of Paderno Dugnano which develops Sme.UP with us, Sme Up Emilia (RE), Newtone (PD), Telnext (SO), Infomath (BG), Computer Studio (PC), PHS (PD).

• Smea shares the head office in Erbusco with: Softia S.r.l., skilled in network architecture and management and web based applications, and SBmind S.r.l., who works for customers having other ERP (as Gipros, ACG, ..).

• Since 2009 Nanosoft S.r.l. joined our group. Skilled in virtualization, high availability and IBM "blade" (Nanosoft owns the most important Norhern Italy IBM demo centre), this company plans and implements infrastructures for Business Information Systems.

4- To work as for Small Businesses, going on to produce simple and flexible solutions, as for Big ones, to increase and extend them.

A winning application structure
All our applications are based on a modular application structure, based on API (Application Program Interfaces) able to interface the Customer information system, using their resources and avoiding any data duplication.
